After many trips into deepest darkest Africa we become very taken by some small dry biscuits that were always placed on the table at breakfast. The biscuits, or rusks, were used by Africkanas when they went on safari. Safari just means journey. As they are dried the texture doesn’t change and are quite filling.

We found a recipe from a South African and adapted in by using Amarula Cream Liqueur. Another wonderful African product.

As such we branded them Dippi Biccies and setup a website and online shop. We’ve also started looking for distributors and farm shops. As of August 2017 we supply the Spinneybank farms shop on the outskirts of Stoke Golding.
